A native of Iowa, Dick Duff has a Marketing Degree and is a 1964 graduate of the University of Iowa Law School. He has been admitted to practice law in Iowa and Colorado, and maintains his Colorado license.
In addition to being a Gold Life Master and avid competitor at bridge tournaments, Dick has addressed numerous professional audiences in all phases of advanced underwriting, with particular emphasis on how to structure annuities and insurance within a financial and estate plan. And, he works with clients and advisers on a regular basis to solve their special problems. He has been a frequent speaker at consumer seminars, MDRT, Purdue University, insurance associations, estate planning councils and over 65 national CLU and CFP meetings.
Dick's columns appear regularly in numerous professional magazines. He has been interviewed on CNN, PBS, ABC Radio and WGN - and is frequently quoted by the press and media. Dick is also a litigation adviser to lawyers on insurance agent liability pertaining to annuity and insurance products in estate plans.
